San Antonio (Bexar County) — One of San Antonio’s homegrown small businesses, Bubble Bath Car Wash, is making a splash with a two-day festive grand opening for its latest location.

Expanding into the city’s northwest quadrant, the new car wash at 8258 Culebra Road will celebrate with a Fall Festival Grand Opening.

Visitors will be offered $1 car washes on Friday through Saturday (Oct. 29-30). On Saturday, customers will enjoy music, a food truck, a pumpkin patch with family activities, and a K9s For Warriors booth with their champion pair of a service dog and veterinarian.

Friday activities will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Saturday festival will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Bubble Bath is owned and operated by generations of the Lopez family–company president Nick Lopez and co-founder Larry Lopez. The Culebra Road car wash will be their sixth location in the city, and another is opening soon on Guilbeau Road.

Special guests include Jessica Mendoza of K9s for Warriors; Ann-Marie Camosy of the Doseum; City Councilwoman Melissa Havdra, representing District 6; Deacon Robert Correa of Prince of Peace Catholic Church; and Phillip Sanchez of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Home of the “Best Three-Minute Wash,” Bubble Bath Car Wash operates six locations in San Antonio. Their customer-first philosophy,
environmentally friendly initiatives and strong community involvement has made them San Antonio’s favorite car wash
experience.
