Addison (Dallas County) - KWA Construction, a leading general contractor specializing in multifamily developments, has been ranked 22nd in the National Multifamily Housing Council’s (NMHC) Top 25 General Contractors list.

This is the fifth time KWA Construction has made the list, which gives prominence to the nation’s largest multifamily builders based on the number of units started in the previous year. KWA Construction kicked off 2016 with a total of 1,823 units.

“It’s an honor to be acknowledged as a leader within the industry. This recognition validates the hard work of our team, and their continued efforts to become multifamily specialists focusing on building quality apartments, senior housing, and student housing,” said KWA Construction President Brian Webster.

Current projects include Phase IV of Hebron 121 Station, the expansion of a $300 million, 90-acre resort-style apartment community in Lewisville; Phase I of Arlington Commons, a $200 million redevelopment project that represents the largest multifamily project in Arlington history and one of the largest in North Texas; and Oleander Apartments, a $37 million apartment community that will provide necessary high quality housing for those working and serving in Fort Worth’s Hospital District.

NMHC is an organization of apartment industry leaders that serves as a forum for insight, advocacy and action that enable both members and the communities they build to thrive. NMHC partners with Kingsley Associates, a leading real estate research and consulting firm for the NMHC’s 50’s research and analysis.
