Houston (Harris County) — Urban Logistics Realty (ULR), a Texas-based real estate developer, has broken ground on The Brickyard, a 542,851-square-foot, three-building business park located at 5020 Acorn Street. The strategically positioned development is a joint venture between Principal Asset Management and ULR.
The Brickyard is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026.
“The Brickyard represents the next step in Urban Logistics Realty’s growing portfolio of Urban Districts and underscores our commitment to redefining industrial real estate,” said Urban Logistics Realty Vice President Zach Stull. “We’re obsessed with delivering exceptional spaces that serve the evolving needs of businesses while making a lasting, positive impact on the communities we build in.”
The Brickyard offers multiple configurations, allowing it to cater to users ranging from 30,000 to 542,851 square feet. It will be developed to best-in-class standards, including ample auto and trailer parking, speculative office space and LEED Certification.
“Principal Asset Management is excited to kick off construction of The Brickyard with ULR at this premier infill location within Northwest Houston,” said Principal Asset Management Senior Asset Manager Colin Frye.
Construction financing is being provided by First United Bank & Trust. Harvey Builders is serving as the general contractor, Powers Brown Architecture as the design firm, Kimley-Horn as the civil engineer and Pinnacle as the structural engineer.
