Sequin (Guadalupe County) — Ranch Hand, a division of LCI Industries subsidiary Lippert Components, Inc., has broken ground on a new 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
The project, situated off Interstate 10, will consolidate Ranch Hand’s existing operations in Shiner and Beeville into a single, state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance production capacity and operational efficiency, according to a news release.
The new facility will roughly double Ranch Hand’s manufacturing output for its signature line of heavy-duty grill guards and bumpers, which have seen growing demand in recent years following their appearances on popular television series such as Yellowstone and Land Man. The plant will also include an advanced E-Coat finishing line with zirconium pre-treatment to improve corrosion resistance and product durability — a key upgrade as the company expands further into northern U.S. markets.
Groundbreaking began in September, with completion and move-in anticipated by mid-2026. Company leaders stated that the Seguin facility represents a significant investment in Texas manufacturing and reflects Ranch Hand’s long-term commitment to its workforce and the community. Current employees in Shiner and Beeville are being offered relocation assistance, training, and other support to ensure a smooth transition.
City and county officials praised the project as a boost to local industry and employment. “This project represents another significant investment in our community’s growing manufacturing base,” said Seguin Mayor Donna Dodgen. Guadalupe County Judge Kyle Kutscher added that the expansion “further strengthens the region’s position as a leading destination for manufacturing investment,” citing collaboration between the City of Seguin, Guadalupe County, and the Seguin Economic Development Corporation in bringing the project to fruition.
