Georgetown: Local Power Equipment Distributor Opening New Facility

Georgetown (Williamson County) — A Georgetown power equipment distributor received approval for their site development plan during the Planning and Zoning Commission’s Tuesday meeting.

The 28.139-acre property, currently undeveloped, is located to the southwest at 2301 Airport Road.

The property will become the future home to Texas Outdoor Power Equipment, which will consist of two buildings constructed over two phases.

Round Rock-based Place Designers, Inc. released the following specs:

  • Building 1 (Phase 1) 224,915 SF
  • Building 2 (Phase 2) 201,721 SF
  • Average building height of 32 feet
  • Foundations to be slab on grade
  • 250 parking spaces in Phase 1; and 308 spaces in Phase 2
  • 66.99% (18.85-acres, 824,545 SF) impervious cover
  • Building setbacks of 25 feet (front); 10 feet (side); 15 feet (back)
  • 20 foot sidewalk easement
  • 25 foot drainage easement
  • Detention pond

The buildings will be composed of a balcony, tinted aluminum storefront windows, aluminum solar canopy, concrete tilt-wall panel and prefinished metal gutter.

Texas Outdoor Power Equipment owns the property through their affiliate Patrick C. Elliot Properties, LTD.

Georgetown architect Elsasser Architectural, Inc. and Salado surveyor Quick Inc. round out the project team.

This was the fourth consideration of this request. The request was previously considered by the commission at their Dec. 15, Jan. 19 and their March 2 meetings.
