Austin (Travis County) — The Code is now open and welcoming guests in the city’s Zilker neighborhood. Developed by Pearlstone Partners and operated by AvantStay, The Code redefines ownership with a modern hotel-condo concept.
The five-story property blends the comfort of fully furnished residences with the ease of hotel-style service, allowing owners to use their home as they choose. Each residence is professionally managed by AvantStay, offering a turnkey experience that functions as both a personal retreat and an income-generating investment.
Located at 2323 S. Lamar Blvd., The Code brings 177 fully furnished residences to market in one of the city’s highest-demand areas for short-term stays. The property is positioned within walking distance of South Lamar’s restaurants, coffee shops, retail, and music venues, and it’s minutes from Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, and downtown.
The Code offers studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom layouts designed for both short and extended stays. Each residence includes a fully stocked kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, and dedicated living space. The project introduces a hotel-condo model to the Austin market, combining guest bookings with professionally managed residential ownership in a location where new short-term rental supply is increasingly constrained.
The Code’s interiors are designed by Kim Lewis Designs, bringing a unique perspective through layered materiality, curated pieces, and custom furniture. The tailored spaces feel inviting and energetic, encouraging a place to work, gather, and experience Austin’s progressive and iconic creative culture.
All suites are fully furnished in partnership with Williams Sonoma, delivering a complete, move-in-ready experience with everything in place for both short stays and longer visits.
Guests have access to a temperature-controlled pool with a tanning ledge, a poolside outdoor kitchen, a rooftop terrace, 24-hour concierge and check-in, and secure parking. The ground-floor lobby lounge serves coffee and cocktails by Cuvée Coffee, with additional retail spaces planned to open later this year, including health and wellness offerings. Cuvée will be open to the public beginning May 1.
The Code also features two themed suites. The Zephyr Suite draws from Austin’s natural landscape, while The Montage Suite is a music-inspired space. Both are well-suited for larger parties, corporate stays, and live/work use, as well as creative retreats, celebrations, and group getaways.
