Austin (Travis County) — Arterra Development, LLC (Arterra) has launched as a new venture spearheaded by industry veteran Greg Weaver.
Arterra combines decades of expertise in creating award-winning communities and emerges with an impressive portfolio of landmark projects under development management in partnership with Catellus Development Corporation.
“This isn’t just the beginning of a new company; it’s the continuation of a legacy,” declared Greg Weaver, founder and CEO of Arterra, who previously served as executive vice president at Catellus. “With decades of shared experience, our team is ready to tackle new challenges and continue delivering innovative, meaningful spaces.”
Arterra will continue to serve as the development and asset manager for several prominent Catellus projects, including:
- Mueller – The nationally acclaimed 700-acre urban housing, office, and retail development in Austin’s heart, demonstrating how former airport land can become a model for sustainable community development. This development is in partnership with the City of Austin.
- Colony Park – An innovative equity-focused development bringing new opportunities to East Austin. This development is in partnership with the City of Austin.
- Victoria Commons – A transformative urban renewal project in downtown San Antonio. This development is in partnership with Opportunity Home.
These projects will see minimal changes in daily operations, ensuring continuity and progress as Arterra simultaneously seeks to expand its portfolio.
