Selma (Comal County) — An Atlanta-based industrial real estate developer will be starting construction on its Selma Building 2 in Titan Industrial Park toward the end of this summer.
The scope of work involved construction of a 305,172 square-foot unoccupied, shell warehouse building. This is a concrete slab on grade foundation with a concrete tilt-wall superstructure, steel framing and a Thermoplastic Polyolefin roof system. The warehouse will have fire sprinkler, and heating for freeze protection only.
The design firm, George Butler Associates of Lenexa, Kansas, filed an architectural report with the State of Texas in late May that gave an estimated construction start date of Aug. 26, 2021. Construction is anticipated to be complete by June 1, 2022.
The estimated project cost was reported as $15,420,000. The project site is on Ben E. Keith Way, adjacent to the O’Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center.
The developer-owner is Robinson Weeks Partners of Atlanta, Georgia. Robinson Weeks is a national industrial real estate developer of warehouse and logistics properties.
The 184-acre Titan Industrial Park-Selma is controlled by Titan Development. Robinson Weeks first collaborated with Titan Development in Selma in 2014 when they began construction on the first of what, at the time, was a plan for three warehouses.
