San Marcos (Hays County) — A Dallas developer received approval of a final development plat for a 249-unit multifamily development at the Feb. 23 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Nic Balsamo with Kalterra Capital Partners is proposing to construct The Dylan Addition.
The 10.66-acre property is undeveloped and located southwest of McCarty Commons Apartment Complex located at 1476 East McCarty Lane in the southwest portion of the city.
The adjacent McCarty Commons project was also built by Kalterra and was sold in March of 2021.
Jonathan Kerby with the Dallas office of Kimley-Horn & Associates released a proposed site plan that shows that the complex will consist of six buildings, a pool and an amenity center lounge.
Kalterra Capital Partners is expected to complete The Dylan Addition by the second quarter of 2023, according to their website.
The recommendation will now be heard by the City Council at a future meeting.
