Round Rock ISD to Renovate and Expand Brushy Creek Elementary School for $8.4 Million

Round Rock (Williamson County) — The Round Rock Independent School District has filed an architectural barrier notice with a state regulatory agency concerning renovations to Brushy Creek Elementary School.
The school is located at 3800 Stonebridge Dr. in the western portion of the city.
The scope of work involves the addition of a two-story, 25,000 square-foot classroom, renovations to the school’s existing gym, along with cafeteria and classroom replacement.
The estimated cost of the project is $8.4 million and the projected construction timeline is reported to begin on Jan. 10, 2022 and reach completion by Dec. 1, 2022.
Dallas-based Lee Lewis Construction Inc is the construction manager. Sub-bids are due Oct. 19 by 2 p.m. CST and those interested in submitting bids for subcontracting work or questions in general can do via email: dallasestimating@leelewis.com.
DLR Group, a design firm out of Dallas, is on board the project. The rest of the project team consists of MEP engineer JonesDBR Engineering Co LLC, out of Austin, civil engineer, GarzaEMC LLC, out of Austin and structural engineer, Dally + Associates Inc, out of Austin.
Austin-based True North Consulting Group is the technology consultant.
