Round Rock (Williamson County) — A Houston development company had their final plat for a 108-unit townhome project approved, at a recent Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
The 9.24-acre project site is vacant and located south of Louis Henna Boulevard and South A. W. Grimes Boulevard intersection in the southeast portion of the city.
The annexation of the tract and the associated PUD zoning was approved by the City Council at its Oct. 28 meeting.
Epitome Development, under the entity 2735 Saw Grimes LLC, proposes a townhome project, AW Grimes Townhomes, with a maximum of 108 units that will be served by private drive aisles and will contain four amenities, one more than required by the city’s code for townhouse development.
The homes will include exterior design features on the second floor when these facades face any adjacent property boundary.
In addition, a perimeter fence will be built, including a subdivision wall along A.W. Grimes Blvd, with landscaping between the wall and the roadway.
Austin engineers Jones & Carter, Inc. represented Epitome before the P&Z Commission.
