Round Rock: Cedar Ridge High School to Renovate Technical Education Classroom

Round Rock (Williamson County) — The Round Rock Independent School District recently filed a permit with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the renovation of the culinary kitchen at Cedar Ridge High School.

The school is located at 2801 Gattis School Rd. in the southeast portion of the city.

The project, Cedar Ridge HS CTE Renovation, would include the demolition and renovation of the flooring in the existing culinary kitchen and dressing area.

In addition, the project calls for the renovation of the school’s existing home arts kitchen into a second culinary kitchen with a bistro.

The $1 million project will also consist of technical education classroom renovations at roughly  374,221 square-feet. The school was originally completed in 2010.

Interested contractors can submit bids to the school district through a hard copy by Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. 

Stantec Architecture, out of Austin, is on board the project. JMK Foodservice Consulting & Design LLC , out of Rowlet, is on board the project as a food consultant.

True North Consulting Group, out of Austin, is serving as the technology consultant.
