Justin (Denton County)–A Missouri developer plans to build a 707,592-square-foot speculative warehouse in an industrial area in the north Fort Worth area.
NorthPoint Development will establish the Intermodal Logistics Center (ILC), a single-story concrete and steel structure, at 18316 Farm Road 156.
According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), the project is valued at $18.2 million. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-May and finish up before the end of this year.
Architecture firm, studioNorth, a division of NorthPoint, is the project designer.
The warehouse will be located immediately northwest of Fort Worth Alliance Airport, and immediately east of the BNSF Railway Alliance intermodal facility, which provides distribution services to several companies.
NorthPoint has developed and managed 74.6 million square feet of industrial space nationwide since 2012, accommodating more than 220 industrial clients.
The company has another 15 million square feet of industrial space currently under construction, including an 800,300-square-foot project in West Dallas.
CBRE will lease the ILC project in Justin. VBX members may track this project using ID number: 2020-2BE7.
