Georgetown: P&Z OKs Convenience Store for Eastern Portion of the City

Georgetown (Williamson County) — A San Antonio-based developer received rezoning for a convenience store, at Tuesday’s meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

The 7.95-acre property was converted from residential single-family (RS) to local commercial (C-1) zoning with a special use permit to allow for fuel sales and a car wash.

 The site is undeveloped and located at 1910 NE Inner Loop across Charles A. Forbes Middle School in the eastern portion of the city.

The working title of the development is based on the address, Rezoning of 1910 NE Inner Loop.

The developers state that the “property is an attractive location for this use due to its location at the intersection of two arterial roadways,” according to city documents.

Karim Ali with United Community Investors LP owns the property through the entity UCI Property LLC.

Tyler Smith with UP Engineering and Surveying, out of San Antonio, is onboard the project.
