Bee Cave: Dripping Springs Pool Company Receives Site Development Plan Approval

Bee Cave (Travis County) — A Dripping Springs pool company is coming to town, thanks to the City Council’s Tuesday approval of a site development plan that includes an impervious cover variance.

Cascade Custom Pools will set up their Bee Cave operations on 1.76-acres of property at the southwestern edge of the city on 15814 Hamilton Pool Road.

The site plan proposes to construct two commercial office buildings, along with supplementary site improvements.

The site is currently developed with a mobile home and a building that will need to be removed, along with existing power poles, a metal carport and a gravel driveway. The existing fence  surrounding the adjacent properties will remain.

Round Rock-based TDI Engineering, LLC has released the following specs:

  • Building one: 17.75 square feet in height (1,498 SF)
  • Building two: 22.5 square feet in height (7,192 SF)
  • A 25-foot trail and sidewalk
  • A 528 square feet accessory building
  • A 2,210 square feet detention pond
  • A 906 square feet sedimentation basin
  • A 465 square feet filtration basin
  • Water pond
  • Filtration pond
  • Irrigation pond  
  • 42 parking spaces (40 standard parking spaces, two ADA accessible spaces)
  • 42.15% impervious cover (32,357 SF); a 40% impervious cover is usually required for non residential developments  

The buildings will be composed of material consisting of masonry, glazing, stucco and metal siding.  

Cascade Custom Pools owns the land through their official company Cana Park, LLC. Round Rock-based landscape architects Meloncon Design Group, Inc. are also on board the project team.
