Austin: 304-Unit Apartment Complex Planned on Lakeline Boulevard

By Edmond Ortiz Austin (Williamson County)—Embrey Partners plans to begin construction this summer on a 304-unit apartment complex on a 12.3-acre tract north of Lakeline Mall at Lakeline Boulevard and U.S. Highway 183.

Plans for the yet-unnamed multifamily community call for eight buildings of new construction along with surface parking spaces, a clubhouse, business center and private garage parking.
There also will be a fitness center with on-demand virtual trainers, a game room, a pool with cabanas, barbecue areas with grills, and a dog park.
Pape-Dawson Engineers is the civil engineer, Dallas-based based Humphreys and Partners is the civil architect, and Austin firm Norris Design is the landscape architect. Nichols Engineering from Austin is the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing engineer.
The first occupants are expected to arrive in August 2021. The project is scheduled for completion by November 2022.
There was no information yet on a construction delivery method or estimated cost.
Embrey officials said tenants at the new Lakeline apartments would benefit from a North Side location that lies near Lakeline Mall and the $1 billion Apple campus that is under construction.

“In terms of location, design detail and desirable living experience, Lakeline will set the standard for preferred living in North Austin,” said Jimmy McCloskey, executive vice president of development, said in a news release.
“As a Texas-based company, Embrey is excited to add this premier property to our Austin portfolio.”
