Sugar Land Regional Airport Hangar Replacement – Hangar I
Sugar Land, TX (Fort Bend Co.) –
Work will consist of construction of a 40,000 sf single story, pre-engineered aircraft hangar for Taxiway F relocation for a regional airport. Will include a lean-to addition containing fire pump room, electrical equipment room, toilet and miscellaneous work. The hangar and lean-to shall have prefinished standing seam metal roofing, corrugated metal wall panels and 12’ high liner panels on all interior wall faces. Walls shall have a continuous rigid insulation board minimum R 6.5 with exterior wall insulation of minimum R 13 reinforced vinyl batts and roof shall have an approved roof liner system equivalent to minimum R 19 + 11 LS reinforced vinyl faced insulation. Exterior metal paint shall be Kynar 500 with roof and wall panels to match Airport color standards. The rated wall separating the hangar space from the lean-to shall be of concrete masonry construction. The public toilet walls shall be concrete masonry construction, painted finishes, suspended acoustic ceilings. Both the hangar and toilet floors shall have an epoxy paint finish.
