Dallas, TX (Dallas Co.) –Scope of work consists of constructing a new facility that combines efficiency and sustainability by co-locating both ARFF Station 21 functions and personnel as well as the Department of Aviation’s Airside Operations Division. The primary goal of the project replace the existing facility that has exceeded its useful life.
Additionally, the Department of Aviation is in the process of reconfiguring the taxiways in the middle of the airfield (Crossfield Taxiway Project) to comply with current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) design standards.
Based on the taxiway reconfiguration, the proposed new fire station will be constructed in a new location to ensure FAA response time requirements are met for aircraft emergencies.
